William C. Roedder, Jr. practices in the fields of commercial and business litigation (representing both plaintiffs and defendants), class action, insurance, and personal injury defense litigation (primarily products liability cases, industrial accidents, fraud and railroad and aircraft litigation). He was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 1972. He graduated from The University of Alabama, B.S. 1968, and from The Cumberland School of Law of Samford University, J.D. cum laude 1972. He is a member of Curia Honoris and The Order of Barristers. He was a member of the Editorial Board and Comments Editor of the Cumberland Law Review, 1971-1972. Bill is a member of the Mobile Bar Association (past Chairman of the Ethics Committee, (1988-1990), served on the Grievance Committee (1994-1996)) and the American Bar Association. He is the immediate Past President of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel and currently serves as Chair of the Board of the FDCC. Bill also is a member of the Board of Directors of the Defense Research Institute, Inc., is on the Board of Directors of Lawyers for Civil Justice and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and Who’s Who in America.
