Robert B. McGinley, Jr. practices in the fields of real estate, commercial loans, general corporate and commercial transaction, and probate, as well as commercial litigation.  He was born in Winter Park, Florida and was first admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2000 while practicing law as an associate in King & Spalding's Atlanta office.  He was also admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 2001 and the Mississippi Bar Association in 2004.  Rob received a B.A. from Washington and Lee University, the Williams School of Commerce, in 1995, and received his J.D., cum laude, from The University of Alabama School of Law in 2000.  While at the University of Alabama, Rob served as a Senior Editor of the Alabama Law Review and was elected Chief Justice of the Alabama Honor Court.  He is a member of the Defense Research Institute, Inc., and the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, where he currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Young Lawyers Section.
