Mary Emily Monroe, a native of Jackson, Mississippi, practices in the area of general civil litigation with a practice focus on pharmaceutical products liability and medical devices cases. She graduated with honors from the University of Mississippi in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in Chemistry. In May 2007, she graduated from Mississippi School of Law. While attending the University of Mississippi, Mary Emily was actively involved with the student chapter of the American Health Lawyers Association, Civil Law Clinic, and the Hurricane Katrina Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project. Since her graduation from law school, Mary Emily has continued her commitment to community organizations, including the Humane Society and the Children’s Aid Society.
