Michael D. Knight practices in the defense of personal injury, property, and death claims, encompassing products liability cases defending the manufacturer, designer, or seller of various kinds of products. His practice also involves the defense of corporate clients in class action and other complex business litigation. Michael was born in Mobile, Alabama and served in the in the United States Army as a Captain from 1965-67. He graduated from the University of Alabama, B.A. 1962 and from The University of Alabama School of Law, L.L.B., Batchelor of Law, 1964. Michael is a Fellow of both the American College of Trial Lawyers and the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. He is a member of the Products Liability Advisory Council. Michael is a member of the Mobile Bar Association (President, 2003), the Alabama Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He serves as a regular faculty member of the Alabama State Bar Instituteís Continuing Legal Education Program.
