Julia C. James practices in the area of general civil litigation. She is a native of Opelika, Alabama, and was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 2011. Julia graduated from University of Alabama School of Law, where she served as a senior editor of the Alabama Law Review as well as Honor Court Assistant Prosecutor. In law school, Julia was a member of the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Society, Dorbin Society, Chair of the Spring Women’s Dinner, and worked as a student advocate in the Domestic Violence Clinic. Julia was also awarded the C. Dallas Sands Dean's Ambassador Award. Prior to law school, Julia was a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Alabama with a major in psychology. At Alabama, she was selected to Phi Beta Kappa, Omicron Delta Kappa, Blue Key, and Cardinal Key honor societies.
