Over the past 25 years, Skip has represented individuals and businesses in the fields of personal injury litigation, products liability, railroad, trucking, aviation, drug and medical device, medical malpractice, chemical exposure, industrial accident, premises liability, and general insurance defense. He has represented the Firm's clients in litigation throughout the State of Alabama, in state and federal courts, and in Florida, Louisiana and Mississippi, as well.

Skip has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America, is listed in Alabama Super Lawyers, and is included by Benchmark Litigation in its guide to America's leading business litigation firms and attorneys. He was awarded an "AV" rating by the Martindale-Hubble Law Directory.

Throughout his legal career, Skip has been active in numerous national organizations, including the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (Chairman of Products Liability Committee, 2008-2009), Defense Research Institute, and National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel. Skip attended the International Association of Defense Counsel Trial Academy, has been a faculty member and presenter at the FDCC Litigation Management College, and has spoken at DRI and American Conference Institute seminars.

Skip graduated from the University of Alabama, B.S., 1983, and from the University School of Law, J.D. 1986.
