Sarah Jane Lindsay

Sarah Jane has been handling the litigation needs of her clients for more than thirty-five years. Her practice encompasses commercial and business law, bankruptcy, and general civil litigation. Whether it’s pre-suit legal advice or any aspect of litigation (pleadings, injunctive relief, discovery, dispositive motions, hearings, trials, and appeals), Sarah Jane has extensive experience in pursuing and protecting the rights of her clients in federal and state courts.

Sarah Jane is licensed to practice law in Alabama and Tennessee. Much of Sarah Jane’s professional career has been as a judicial law clerk for three federal judges in the Southern District of Alabama: Alex. T. Howard, Jr., Charles R. Butler, Jr., and Richard W. Vollmer, Jr. She served as Judge Vollmer’s career law clerk for nearly seven years until his death. A native of east Tennessee, Sarah Jane has lived in Mobile for more than twenty years since her second move to the Port City. Sarah Jane enjoys time shared with family (both two-legged and four-legged) and friends, and she volunteers her time and legal services to a local non-profit animal rescue organization.
