Anne Laurie Smith practices in the field of general civil litigation, emphasizing in insurance defense and employment litigation. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia and was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 2004. Anne Laurie graduated from The University of Alabama, B.A., cum laude, 2000 and from the University of Alabama School of Law, J.D., in 2004 where she was a member of the National Trial Competition team. Anne Laurie is a member of The Order of Barristers and a recipient of the George Peach Taylor Award for outstanding trial advocacy. In 2008, she was appointed to the Defense Research Institute's Young Lawyers Steering Committee.
